The local firefighters will be holding their Fill the Boot campaign. Firefighters will be outside in front of the Toyota Center entrances for fans to donate to the MDA.
Throughout the Toyota Center concourse will be a silent auction in Section J, with all the proceeds benefiting the local chapter of the MDA. Items up for auction include special green MDA Night pucks signed by Americans players, team signed rink board glass and much more.
There will be a special pregame ceremony, with Feser and Topping presenting a check to the MDA and a ceremonial puck drop.
Tri-City is 1-3 all-time on Go Green for MDA Night, with every game against the Spokane Chiefs. The Americans fell in last season’s game 3-2, with their only win coming on March 19, 2011, coming out on top 6-4. The event has raised $38,741 for the local chapter of the MDA over the last four seasons.
It’s also another Jack in the Box Rock the Rink Saturday Night, with student ticket discounts available at the Toyota Center box office, simply by showing your valid student card.
