Teddy Bear Toss/Bring a Friend Night!

Dec 04, 2013 - 11:00 GMT

On Friday, December 13th, your Tri-City Americans host the Prince George Cougars at the Toyota Center on the annual Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss Night, presented by NewsTalk 870, KEPR-TV and the Tri-City Herald.  Fans are encouraged to bring new and gently used stuffed animals to the game. Then, when the Americans score their first goal of the night, fans can toss their stuffed animals onto the ice, where they will be collected and donated to various charities throughout the Mid-Columbia.  The record for most stuffed animals collected at the Teddy Bear Toss is 2,735 set in 2010.

It’s also another Tri-City Herald Family Friday, presented by KEPR-TV, so be sure to clip the coupon in the Tri-City Herald, Atomictown or online at Tri-CityHerald.com to receive 4 tickets for just $48 at the Toyota Center box office!

AND, it’s our next Kadlec Regional Medical Center Book and Food Drive of the season.  Bring in your donation of new and gently used children’s book and pre-packaged food items to the game to be entered to win a free Kindle Tablet, courtesy of Kadlec.

And don’t miss the 2nd annual Sing for Santa performance, featuring hundreds of local elementary school students.
