Washington's Lottery Children's Book Drive:
- The Tri-City Americans and Washington's Lottery have teamed, up once again, to support literacy across the Mid-Columbia. Representatives from the Washington's Lottery will be collecting books at three games this season, Saturday, Nov. 1st vs. Seattle, Saturday, Jan. 10th vs. Portland and Saturday, Feb. 21st vs. Spokane. All fans 18 years of age and older that bring in new and/or gently used children's books to these games will receive a free scratch ticket, courtesy of Washington's Lottery. Fred Meyer's Teddy Bear Toss:
- On Saturday, December 6th, the Americans will once again be hosting the Tri-City Americans Teddy Bear Toss. All fans are encouraged to bring new and/or gently used teddy bears to the game against the Calgary Hitmen. After the Americans first goal of the night, fans throw their teddy bears on to the ice, which are then distributed to less fortunate kids around the Mid-Columbia.
Fred Meyer's Breast Cancer Awareness Night:
- On Friday, February 13th, the Americans, Fred Meyer and the Tri-Cities Cancer Center will integrate several activities to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and support for cancer patients and their families in our community. The Americans will be skating on pink ice, the players will play with pink jerseys and all fans will receive a complimentary pink Cancer Awareness window cling, courtesy of the Tri-Cities Cancer Center. The game will serve as a fundraiser for the Tri-Cities Cancer Center, with pink jersey auction proceeds earmarked to support services for those women who are battling cancer, cancer screening and education.
Stratton Surveying Power to the Kids Power Play:
- The Americans and Stratton Surveying have partnered for the Stratton Surveying Power to the Kids Power Play program. For every Americans goal scored on a power play, Stratton will donate $25 to the Boys and Girls Club of Benton-Franklin Counties.
Sonshine Collision Services' Penalty Kill:
- The Americans and Sonshine Collision Services have partnered for the SonShine Collision Services' Penalty Kill program. For every successful Americans penalty kill, Sonshine will donate $10 to the Americans' Continuing Education Fund.
Risk Decisions' Victories for Volunteers:
- The Americans and Risk Decisions Management have partnered for the Victories for Volunteers program. For every Americans home win this season, Risk Decisions will donate $50 to the Tri-Cities Volunteer Center.
