#15 Colton Yellow Horn, Left Wing

Height: 5'8"
Weight: 180 pounds
Hometown: Brocket, Alberta
Shoots: Left Handed
NHL Draft Status: Free Agent
'07-'08 Hockey Age: 20
Acquired: Trade with Lethbridge, September 2006.

Notes: With 105 regular season goals coming into the 2007-08 season, Colton is considered one of premier goal scorers in the WHL. His 40 goals from last season ranked tops among returning players. His skill level makes him a scoring threat no matter what the situation. Although only 5'8", Colton's stature and low center of gravity make him tough to knock off the puck. Unlike some scorers, he does not shy away from physical play and will initiate contact with opposing players. The Americans will count on Yellow Horn to be an offensive force this season.

Colton is a member of the Northern Peigans tribe who are part of the Blackfoot nation.

Did you know? Colton has attended NHL training camps the past three seasons. He was a free agent invite of the Edmonton Oilers in 2005, the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2006 and the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2007.
